- CADY is the Substance Use Disorders Continuum of Care Provider for the Central Region of NH.
- CADY contracted with the federal government (SAMHSA) as a Drug-Free Community Coalition for 10 years (2003-2013) and served with distinction evidenced by several recognitions listed below.
- Over a 10-year period SAMHSA invested $1.25 million in CADY infrastructure—we have sustained this federal investment.

- CADY operates Restorative Justice, the sole Juvenile Diversion Program in the Plymouth District Court Region. Restorative Justice is a NH Court Accredited Program. This highly effective program breaks the cycle of drug use and crime by providing a developmentally-appropriate accountability process without criminalization.
- CADY operates the sole youth employment program in Central NH, The LAUNCH Youth Entrepreneurship Program. Since 2005, this outcome-based public/private partnership has educated, engaged, and employed over 250 youth. The LAUNCH provides year-round skill building, leadership development, mentoring, and paid summer employment. Outcome data provided by an independent evaluation noted that LAUNCH youth are significantly less likely to engage in high-risk behaviors such as substance use.
- CADY has been recognized nationally by CADCA twice as a “National Coalition of the Year” finalist for data outcomes and capacity to mobilize stakeholders and lead positive community change.
- CADY was the recipient of a national award (in 2007) by CSAP’s Service to Science Program for our signature program, Project Monitor, which was elevated to statewide implementation as “Project Monitor Under 21” in a collaboration between NH Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services, the NH Bureau of Liquor Enforcement, and 2-1-1 New Hampshire. CADY was proud to have brokered statewide stewardship of Project Monitor Under 21 enabling 24/7 statewide dispatch for this anonymous tip line designed to prevent access to underage drinking parties.
- In 2009, CADY was awarded the Plymouth State University Community Partner Award by NH Campus Compact recognizing CADY’s effectiveness in building collaborative partnerships and advancing opportunities for youth in the Central NH region.
- In 2011, The LAUNCH Youth Entrepreneurship Program was spotlighted by the White House as a public/private program to emulate for youth employment and primary prevention.
- In 2014, CADY was honored to receive the 2014 NH Prevention Provider of the Year award from the NH Alcohol and Other Drug Service Providers’ Association.
- In 2015, The Partnership for a Drug-Free NH named CADY their Non-Profit Champion of the Year. Governor Maggie Hassan presented the award.
- In 2015, the CADY Youth Advocacy and Advisory Council received the statewide YOUTH-IN-ACTION award.
- CADY leads strong collaborative partnerships that mobilize the community towards drug-free outcomes.
- CADY has implemented a sustainability plan that includes the underwriting of initiatives by partners, a fundraising campaign with established donors; and 12 municipalities contributing financially to coalition services.
- CADY has earned the public trust by involving and empowering all core sectors to create sustainable community change.
